Day 108 – Assignment – Radiating Lines

Since we are not out and about today I thought I would go with whatever assignment was given at The Daily Shoot again.

Their Assignment:  Make a photograph that features radiating lines today.

Some of the photos that people have added to that site today show things like inner wheel spokes, coloured wires, lines on the back of a shell, sun rays on an ornament, palm tree branches and various other things.

I hunted about the house to see what I could come up with, and then spotted this:

Well, yes it is a gift decoration – I had it nearby for a soon to be given birthday gift – but it does have lots of lines on it and they are radiating out from the centre, so I think it is a pretty good example of what The Daily Shoot wanted for the assignment today. 

Day 105 – What Is It?

I wasn’t able to do my post for yesterday’s photo, so am doing it today instead!!

We were out and about yesterday and when we got to Truro, we had a drive along the river and, not having been so far along the river for a long time, came across this.  What is it?

Day 50: Circles

 

I think today is a bit special!  It’s my day 50 of this Project 365 so I feel that is a bit of a milestone, a nice round number.  I decided that for today’s photograph I would go with whatever was given as an assignment at The Daily Shoot.  This is what they suggested was done photographically today:  “Make a photograph that incorporates a circle”.

The fat balls that the blue tit is trying to eat are the circles incorporated in this photograph.

Then I thought maybe I should go with a better circle or circles so this next pic is my extra attempt at incorporating a circle in a photograph.

The wheels on this ornamental bike look more circle-type I think  than the fat balls in the previous photo.  I’m going to have to move the bike now though as I noticed the kalanchoe flowers are starting to grow through the “spokes” on the wheels!! 

If this assignment was for yesterday I could have used my SuperMoon pics instead!
