Day 348 – I’m Watching You Watching Me!!

We were out and about on our travels again and Paul had parked us in the car park of a small supermarket while he popped in to get some things.

While waiting in the car I noticed a van drive up and park next to us.  The driver got out and as I looked over I saw this little chap watching me.  I could see he was wondering what I was doing watching him!!  ;-)

As I pointed the camera at him you can see we had eye and camera lens contact!!  As he was in a van he was up higher than me.  I’d love to know what was going through his mind!!

(The pic was taken through our car window and the van window, so probably isn’t as good as it should be and shows some reflections of what was around us too).

I thought the little chap was interesting sat there in his high position waiting for his daddy to come back.  :-)

Day 333 – Who Are You Looking At?

On yet another day when we were out and about on our travels, we had stopped in a lay-by so that Paul could take Pippin to go and do what doggies do outside on grass and I became aware that someone was watching me, so I looked back and decided to take this photograph!!

He’s definitely looking at me as I look at him and thinking “Who Are You Looking At, baaaaaa, baaaaaa, baaaaaa”!   :-)

Day 329 – Christmas Day

We had a fairly busy day on Christmas Day.  We had Christmas dinner at home, then visited my Mum and brother Alan in the afternoon and then in the evening we visited Paul’s daughter Claire and her partner Andy.

But before all that there was the present opening!!

And as I was the one busy taking all the photographs, there are not any pics of me unwrapping all my lovely gifts!!  We had a very enjoyable Christmas and Pippin has played with her new toy every single day since she unwrapped it!  :-)

Day 325 – A Family Visit

We were visited on this particular day by Paul’s son David, our daughter-in-law Mandy and our grandchildren Lauren and Lewis.

The children were amazed at meeting Auntie Lucy as at 101 years old she must have seemed extremely ancient – especially when they probably think someone in their thirties is old!!

Although not showing all the family, this photo is a little record of the visit!  :-)

David and Lewis are playing with Pippin and her toys and Pips is watching David who has hold of her Huffy Puppy!!  It’s almost like she is wondering what he is doing with it and wants it back!!  :-)

Lewis has found her big SantaMan (well you can’t really miss him) and is trying to play with Pips, but she only wants to see what David is up to with her toy!!

Day 317 – Comfy!

I’m really not going to say too much here for this post other than someone is looking very comfy!!  :-)

This is our lovely doggie Pippin sitting beside me and looking much more comfortable than I can ever get on the settee!!  :-)

Day 311 – Chums

This is another of those photographs I just had to take as I came across these little chums by chance and they were just there, not placed deliberately or anything like that.

You’re probably pleased that this isn’t yet another photo of our doggie Pippin, but it is a pic of her toys!!

Sometimes when there are several in a pile together, she will stick her nose in amongst them to choose one to play with.  She had obviously been doing that here and this is how they were left, so as the toys were looking chummy together and cuddling up I just had to take a pic of them!!  :-)

Day 309 – Please Play With Me!

I just could not resist taking this photograph!  :-)

As those of you who follow this photo journal will know, our lovely doggie Pippin has a lot of toys, lots and lots of them.  She gives them all a go at some time or other, but every day we also have what we call “Tugger Time” which is played at any time of the day or evening, sometimes more than once a day!  :-)

Pippin had picked up her tugger and brought it to her Daddy (Paul) and you can see she is saying “Please play with me”, almost pleading!!  So after I took this pic we all had a game of “Tugger Time”!  Such fun for all!!!  ;-)

Day 306 – A Favourite Corner

On the day I took this photograph we were visiting my brother Alan.

Since Alan first moved in here, Pippin found a lovely darkish corner to settle in for a snooze while we sat and chatted.

As Pips likes this corner so much we place her travel blanket there so she knows it really is her spot!!

I know this is yet another photo of Pippin but my human family are, I think, a little fed up with the camera being pointed at them!!  ;-)

Day 305 – Shelley

I am hoping to get the rest of the backlog of daily photographs uploaded today so that I can do the last couple of weeks or so of Project 365 on a daily basis starting tomorrow.  Fingers crossed I manage to do that!!  :-)

We were visited by our daughter-in-law Shelley on the day I took this photograph.  She was between shifts for her work and it would not have been easy for her to get home and back again, so as she was nearer to us, she popped in.

Our doggie Pippin has always loved Shelley very much ever since their first meeting, so any chance she gets for a cuddle with Shelley she will take!! :-)

It’s always nice to see Shelley and she knows she is welcome to pop in any time, not just between shifts!!

Day 301 – Just Having A Quick Snooze

I couldn’t resist taking this photo of our lovely doggie Pippin.  I know it’s yet another one in this Project of her, but she is a lovely girl so I don’t mind!  :-)

Original photograph taken by me - copyright 2011/2012

If Pippin doesn’t use her toys as a pillow, she loves to use what we call Pippin’s Rugs – these are two sheepskin rugs that she scuffles up and tosses about and then lies down on for a quick snooze.  Such fun!  :-)
